Tanja Kettle came to Big Sing in the Desert for the first time in 2018. She was very moved by the song Rachel brought to the camp, Bring Me Home. Tanja was born in Germany and settled in Australia as an adult. Her experience of coming to Central Australia felt to her like coming home. The song had been translated into Pitjantjatjara, Western Arrarnta and Luritja and so she decided to translate it into German as well. She sang her version to us at the Big Sing in the Desert concert night.
