Big Sing in the Desert 2015

Our fifth year. We make an Aboriginal flag to join the Australia flag to fly at Ross River homestead for Anzac Day. The women are bringing some beautiful big paintings to sell. The Central Australian Aboriginal Women’s Choir are preparing to tour Germany, and a film crew who are making a documentary about the choir come to Big Sing. Dancers paint up and do Inma. They invite other singers to join them, to dance with them.

Tjanpi Desert Weavers from NPY Women’s Council do a workshop and teach us how to make baskets. Pantjiti wants us all to learn a special hymn Godalulanya Altiniyi.
