Big Sing in the Desert 2010

Friday 30th July to Monday 2nd August 2010

Our first year. People come from Areyonga, Ntaria (Hermannsburg), Titjikala, Alice Springs and all over Australia. Rachel invites Darug elder Aunty Carol Cooper from the Blue Mountains, NSW. Caroline Windy from Areyonga teaches us Nyanpi Matilda in Pitjantjatjarra. Inkamala sisters teach us Western Arrernte hymns. We sing at Trephina Gorge and carry the chairs for the older women. Rachel has a birthday. We all have a great time and would like to do it again!
