Big Sing in the Desert 2014

Thursday 23 April to Sunday 26 April 2014

Our fourth year. The Central Australian Aboriginal Women’s Choir have formed. We have new singers from Ti Tree and Papunya Communities join us. We have our first Big Sing in the Desert art sale to support the choir to tour Germany next year. Morris and Barb sing in the concert. The ladies cook roo tails by the fire. Everyone is happy. We learned to sing Rachel’s song Sing You which is about the land and what is happening to the rivers. We love it. Some of us cry when we sing it. We sing it to Rachel on the last day.
