Big Sing in the Desert 2013

Thursday 6 June to Sunday 9 June 2013

Our third year. Singers from Docker River, Mutitjulu, Laramba, Areyonga, Ntaria, Titjikala, and Alice Springs communities join singers from around Australia. Laramba young women challenge the old men to a softball game. The men have no teeth so the girls let them win! Morris teaches us Vuma and we dance and sing it by the fire. We have fun ripping paper in the concert. The men learn to dance. We sing the Docker River Song.
